Egypt coach Hassan Shehata believes his side should have beaten Ghana following a come-from-behind 2-2 draw with the Black Stars in Cairo on Wednesday.

Shehata has hit out at his strikers, saying they were too wasteful in front of goal.

"You wouldn't pull off a win if you squandered so many chances, this is football," Shehata said.

"We were capable of scoring four goals at least, but Amr Zaki, Ahmed Hassan and Mohamed Zidan failed to convert a host of golden chances."
