Scottish club Hamilton Academicals have signed Senegal international Lamine Diatta until the end of the season.

Diatta was a free agent after being released by English Premier League club Newcastle United last year. He has also played in Turkey and France's Ligue 1.

The 33-year-old defender, who has made 40 international appearances, is now awaiting international clearance.
