Bruce Praises Ghana’s Kingson

Ghana international goalkeeper Richard Kingson has received praise from his Wigan Athletic manager Steve Bruce after a rare appearance for the English Premiership club on Saturday.
Although his side lost 3-1 at West Brom, Kingson kept the score line down after coming on in the opening 10 minutes to replace injured number one Chris Kirkland.
He even managed to save a penalty from Chris Brunt, before the Albion man squeezed home the rebound.
“Richard has waited patiently for his opportunity and I was delighted with his performance,” Bruce said.
“He did extremely well and it was frustrating for him that is penalty save went straight back to their player to score. That incident summed up our afternoon really; it simply wasn't going to be our day.”
