Stoke have offered a new one-year contract to Senegalese Salif Diao whilst releasing four others.

The Potters have confirmed the release of striker Vincent Pericard, along with Tom Thorley, Jimmy Phillips and Marc Grocott.

Boss Tony Pulis is already building towards next season and admits there will be a lot of work to do this summer.

"We have to change everything," Pulis told the club's official website.

"We have to push on, we have to move on and that's what we'll be doing."
