Burnley Pursue Nigeria's Afolabi

Newly-promoted English Premiership side Burnley are after the services of Nigeria international central defender Rabiu Afolabi.

The 29-year-old, who has been capped 10 times for his country, left French Ligue 1 side Sochaux at the end of last season and is available on a free transfer.

The much travelled defender has already had spells in Belgium, Italy and Austria, and claims there is interest from Spain, Germany and Turkey in his services.
