Diawara Joins Marseille

Marseille have made the significant signing of Bordeaux’s Senegalese defender Souleymane Diawara.
The 30-year-old is heading to the Stade Vélodrome after impressing in the French top flight last season.
Diawara was one of the key men in Bordeaux's title-winning campaign last term, only missing two league games all season.
No details of the Senegalese centre-back's transfer have been released.
Diawara spent two years with Laurent Blanc's outfit, making 64 top-flight appearances, after arriving from English side Charlton Athletic.
