Timely Boost For Ghana
|
Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has received a timely boost ahead of his sides 2010 World Cup/Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan in Accra with the news that first-choice goalkeeper Richard Kingson has fully recovered from injury.
The Black Stars, who will qualify for the World Cup in South Africa if they win and Mali versus Benin ends in a draw, were sweating over the fitness of the Wigan Athletic stopper, who returned to the bench for his club side in their 2-1 defeat to Everton on Sunday.
Kingson had been missing for over a month with an ankle injury, but is now likely to get the nod ahead of the other two keepers in the squad, George Owu of Al Masry in Egypt and William Amamoo from Vaasaland in Sweden.
