Eromoigbe Suspended For Going AWOL
February 9, 2010
Former Nigeria international defender Richard Eromoigbe has been placed on indefinite suspension by Warri Wolves following what the club termed “acts of indiscipline”.
According to Wolves general manager (media), Timi Ebikagboro, Eromoigbe, who featured in Bulgaria and Russia, before he rejoined his hometown club last year, was suspended on January 5 after he absconded from the team.
“He left the club without permission and only returned for our recent match against Sunshine Stars and even there he snubbed the club officials,” said Ebikagboro.
“We cannot understand this attitude because we are up to date with his sign-on fees and salaries.”
Former Olympic goalkeeper, Ambrose Vanzekin, was also recently hammered for indiscipline by the club.
